Suzuki SV650 (2016-2021) Exhaust Round Big Bore

Well made and looks good on the bike.
Loud and deep note without Db killer.

I've replaced the stock exhaust on my 2019 SV650. WOW, what a difference. Really good quality end excellent customer service. Looks amazing and sounds even better. Would recommend SP Engineering for both service and quality.

I was looking for a slip-on and after watching many youtube videos I narrowed down my search to two popular exhaust manufacturers and one from a small independent aftermarket company. I decided to go with the smaller company to support the smaller, local business. Then one evening as I was going through youtube looking at SV-650 videos I came across one featuring SP Engineering. I liked the sound, look, and the fact that SPE was a smaller producer of aftermarket exhausts.

I pulled the trigger on the Round Big Bore XLS Carbon Fibre Exhaust. I didn't want a short exhaust for my SV so I went with the biggest size. I chose this particular model because of the look and mainly because of the exhaust tip design (same design I had on my 05' bike, brought back memories). I placed my order and since living across the pond in the US I anticipated it would take a while given the COVID outbreak. However, to my surprise it arrived within a week!!!!

The exhaust was packed well and there was no damage to the exhaust nor the parts. Lacking any mechanical skills I wished it would have come with a one pager, simple instructions. But its a slip-on so not too complicated, and a few youtube videos later, install was easy.

All the parts worked with no issues making for a quick install. And starting my SV for the first time with the exhaust was music to my ears. This exhaust coupled with the v-twin engine is absolutely awesome sounding. 100% hands down, video recording of this do NOT do it justice. The sound is on a whole new level that just makes you want to ride and just makes the bike look so much better, not to mention the massive weight savings. Additionally, not having to buy an aftermarket air filter or require a tune is a great perk IMO. The sound when riding makes you feel like a school kid again going out for recess. Having more presence out in traffic is an additional benefit over the stock exhaust. My favorite part is downshifting hearing it rumble.

If you are on the edge between a brand exhaust company, I would 100% go with an exhaust from SPE.

Since I have a v-twin I did not listen to any of the inline-4 motorcycles with a SPE exhaust. For v-twin owners, a SPE exhaust is a must buy if you are planning to buy an aftermarket exhaust.
